Christmas in the Big Apple and Penelope Sutherland is home for the holidays!
She’s looking forward to spending quality time with her loved ones. She’s also catering to her first documentary, a history of the Vitrine Theater and the Big Apple Dancers, who put on the world-famous Christmas Extravaganza. Her best friend, Arlena, is the director and granddaughter of one of the show’s famous Snow Queens.
But not everyone is in the holiday spirit. When one of the dancers mysteriously disappears then turns up dead right before opening night, it looks like Christmas might be canceled.
The police are at a loss to uncover who has it out for the theater company, so it’s up to Penelope to cook up a plan to find out if the Vitrine is cursed or haunted by its past before the killer can strike again.

MURDER WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS by Shawn Reilly Simmons | A Henery Press Mystery. If you like one, you’ll probably like them all.
“I love this series and it really put me in the mood for Christmas by sunny”
I tried to read this book slowly because I enjoy them so much. This book put me in the mood for Christmas and I loved reading about the Big Apple Dancers Christmas show. Arlena’s grandmother, Ruby, was the star of the Big Apple Dancers Christmas show one year and now the Madison family is doing a documentary of the show and the Vitrine Theater where it is held. I love the characters in this series and how they have grown and changed over the course of the series. Each book can stand alone, but it is so much more enjoyable to have read the series in order and see the progression of the characters. I am looking forward to next book to see what the future holds for Penelope and Arlena.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Henery Press through Edelweiss. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
